Default Transmission weirdness:

My 1995 170K manual transmission start to break down.
Several months ago, after I start the engine, I cannot shift the gear from NULL to any gears. I need to wait and push the clutch pedal many times before it functions again.
Later, the pedal will be rest in the deep position instead of the normal position, so I have to pull the pedal and push it many times before it functions.
Now, when I am driving, I need to stomp the clutch pedal several times before I can shift the gear.

What is the problem? How much will it cost?
Thanks!

You are having a problem with the clutch hydraulic system, not the transmission. Check for low clutch fluid (=brake fluid) in the reservoir and leaks from the master and slave cylinders. Also look for a leak above the clutch pedal.
