Check the seals, you may have to get new ones. Also, has the trunk ever been broken into?

Have somoene spray the car with water (lots of water) And try to find where it's comming from, from inside the car.

Ya I had a water coming into my trunk and it was so small you couldnt even see it, so I ended up going in my trunk and spraying the car with water and I found the crack.

Yea, mine once got filled with water. Lots of water! I just re-sealed the whole trunk with silicone.

I got some black silicone and sealed the lining around the trunk. Took me about 15 mins, but you've got to let it dry and make sure you didnt miss any spots. I'd look for the problem first then re-seal the opening... i had a whole bunch of holes so i just sealed the whole trunk lining.

well find the problem area first.... thiers several things that could be leaking....
1 sunroof hose could be split leting water drip in trunk...
the side molding clips could be leaking water around them... and also the most common the main trunk seal....
another leaky spot is also the trunk lid around taillights.

i had that main seal problem... simply bought a new one OEM from honda for like 36bucks i believe.. very cheap! my problem wasnt the TOP top of the seal but the botom of the seal... it wasnt squizing the steel lip hard enough and water was geting worked around it! it should stay if ya pull up on it alittle bit.. if it feels loose its probably your bad spot....

i still need to take off my trunks liscence plate trim panel and seal around it.. cause EVERYTIME i go thru cash wash thiers always water that KEEPS driping out from under it.LOL just gets anoying!

Check the rear windshield moulding as well.

drill a couple holes in your spare wheel well ;) Not a good choice, but it is a cheap way to cut down on rust, smell, and weight lol
