Default Trunk Lock help

Hey, I am having with the trunk release next to the driver door in my 93 civic. It has a keyhole, which is locked. How to unlock the release? Right now the only way I can open the trunk is with the key and getting out of the car. Thanks.

Sounds like there is a jam in the mechanism. Take it into any mechanic and they should be able to fix it in around 5-10 minutes, unless you want to have a go yourself.

lol, thanx for the compliment sweetie! Ive been into cars since before I could even talk properly and nothing much has changed except its gotten worse as I've gotten money.... What you may need to do is remove the back internal panel (if it's the hatch) and you should be able to see the mechanism enough to have a fiddle. If it is the sedan I can't help you sorry.... Ntx or greenlx might be able to help, they seem pretty good at this stuff ... or try my first suggestion. Good luck hun

its a coupe, I think I will take a shot at opening it up within the week. I won a contest to get my car pimped out so I won't have it to experiment with right now. Oh well
