turbo diesel '03 civic makes hissing sounds
Hi,
I have a 03' TD Civic here in the UK.
It started to make a hissing sound today and the malfunction indicator light has now lit up.
I've noticed the performance of the car has now changed for the worse.
What could it be? split pipe causing me to loose boost? Common civic problem?
Any comments are helpful, I'm dredding taking it to the dealership tomorrow

Turbo diesel civics do not exist in the United States and this is the first post i've seen about them on the forum. But if it has a MIL you should get the code and go from there.
