Two Spun bearings help

2001 honda civic black 155xxx miles.

Always had my car serviced on time. This time it must of had a leak It still had two thousand more miles left till its next oil changed and there was none and I had no clue till I got a knock in my engine. So I got it home towed it too the garage.

Dropped the oil pan took out all the bearings main and rod.

Two bearings were spun rod 1 and 4 or maybe 2 and 4 can't remember.
The crank has a micro scratch on it where the first bearing spun. I'm thinking that you could almost polish it with your finger and a small pad or maybe even sand it lightly.

You think its safe to just replace the bearings?

Where Can I get a set of main and rod bearings with oil pan gasket? Can I order these parts from my local Honda dealer? Thanks guys.

You might beable to clean the crank up. But be real easy on it. For the bearings you can only get them from honda. If you know what you are looking for you can go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/

Take the crank to a shop and have it micropolished right. That's my opinion.

I agree 100% with Wellfedhobo. That is the correct way to do it. But if that is out of your price range you might be able to clean it up by hand like i said before. But you could end up with another set of bad bearings. The crank is deff not an area you want to go cheap on.

I just need it to make it 10 miles to the dealer without spinning another one anyone know the colors I need? I'm not sure what color bearings I need or how to look.

I'd be very grateful for anyone who could answer ordering the parts tomorrow.

You have to get the numbers off of the crank and numbers off of the Rod caps. I have a paper at home that tells you how to do it. Ill try to scan it and post it up tomorrow morning.
