Default Vibrations on highway

Help! My daughter has a 2001 Honda Civic and when she is driving on the highway, the whole car vibrates. She feels as if it is going to fall apart. We have changed the rims (which 3 were bent) and tires. Her steering wheel really vibrates. Any ideas? My husband thinks it is in her head, but she drives back and forth from college and I want her safe. Thanks for any suggestions.

Are the tires properly inflated and balanced? You might have another shop check them. There are people in the tire business who simply can't balance a tire even though they pretend they can. They're usually found at the blue and yellow store.

Also check for things that are not round by holding the steering wheel loosely and drive straight ahead slowly on a very flat surface. If there's a tendency to wobble from side to side, there is a tire that's not round, bent wheel, or wheel not attached to the car properly.
