Decided to edit my post to make it simpler,

so today I thought I would do the nifty vtec light installation and I had all my information ready on how to do it, I was going to run it to the ECU and not the solenoid, so I pulled my ecu out and I found 2 wires on the big gray plug that are green with a yellow stripe, one is a light green and the other a darker green. (1997 EX, ABS the whole shebang thing) mine doesn't have the white plug like the older ones, it doesn't only have two plugs (gray and blue) at the bottom either. it has big gray, big blue and then a small gray (every DIY I have seen has different)



does anyone know if its the light green or the dark green?

Look at the wires off the solenoid itself. That should tell you for sure.
