Vtec or no
 

I have a 97 hatch and i wanna know if i can put a vtec head on it but it is a y7 motor. if i do, do it i know i wold need the complete head with everything on it and matching computer i just dont know if i can do it to this motor. thanks

yup! thats a mini swap. theres lots of articles around here pertaining to that particular mini me swap.. its fairly common and adds some power!
