Default vtec and turbo possible?

ive always herd that it was never good to run a vtec motor with a turbo. ive been looking in to boosting my ls. if i can put a vtec head on my ls for now, and boost it later, than that would be better. i have seen a lot of boosted vtecs going around. what are the does and donts with that setup?

the biggest problem is that dohc vtecs have high compression, so you have to be careful with boost, but its definitely doable.

I'm running an SOHC VTEC with Boost, and it's working out great. It's all in the tune man
