Default Weatherstrip replacement

When I rolled down my window the other day, my weatherstrip was 'ripped' from the door panel. On the rim of the door panel there were tabs where the strip would sit, do I need to replace the entire panel, or do can I just replace the weatherstrip. Also, is there any other way to make the weatherstrip stay on the panel even if the tabs are ripped off? (like glue)
