its never given me any problems but when does oil give you problems lol well ya i like it beacuse when you touch it with your fingertips it feels really thick so it feels good that little to no friction will happen in my engine. i use it in all my cars so im pretty happy with it hows the royal purp 00civic?

Right now i run vavoline but next i am going to spend the extra money and start running royal purple for all the good things i hear about it. Cause its also fully synthethic and just better for your motor.

Even though the recommended grade of oil is 5W- 20 (I think that was it) what is everyones thoughts on running 10W-30? Anyone notice a difference?

I tend to think that changing it frequently is better than the oil that goes in. All oil comes from the same source and unless you're doing the kind of driving that requires preventative measures against thermal breakdown and things of that sort, oil properties won't change that much. I'm no expert but from what I've read it's not a HUGE factor. The thing that kills your engine is the acidic residue from soot and other contaminants from combustion. Filtration is very important. So I get anything that's cheap... but it's usually a brand name.
