Pretty sure that cruise control was an option, so maybe your cruise control was just a bonus feature installed in the car?
EDIT: upon research, it seems that 6th gen LX's had cruise control. 5th gens didn't, as I understand, so that's what confused me.


Now i'm really confused... i'm not sure about the LX because I just realized something... I've never heard of any Civic having manual windows AND power locks. LX's have power windows and locks, but DX's have manual windows and locks.

Maybe he (or she) has the special edition Civic, or the value package Civic.

Do what he said though and check the VIN. I was going to recommend that but I had no idea what letters you would need to look at and what they would mean.

 

Thanks so much for you help guys. using the VIN method and the service manual you provided I was able to come up with this!! Highlighted in red is my model. Its a Canada made car, I guess that's what was confusing us Thanks again!

 

That makes sense then. I knew something was odd.

 

i'm glad it all worked out. now i hope the original owner did not make any radical mods.
