what would make my clock reset everytime i turn my car on?

Angry what would make my clock reset everytime i turn my car on?

Hi, i've noticed everytime i turn my car on, my clock resets itself to 1:00 and i dont know why!!! it also reset my cd player's settings. and now my cd player wont even turn on! i checked the radio fuse under the steering wheel and its fine... so what else could it be?...
my cars a 1993 honda civic sedan.

any help would be appreciated thanks!

hey thanks! that fixed my clock problem, but do u have any idea whats stoppin my cd player from turnin on? i've tryed 2 diffrent cd players and neither of them turn on, so i know its not the cd player itself. it worked fine then all the sudden it just wouldnt turn on. any ideas?

Use a multimeter to check the voltage on the radio harness' constant 12V and accessory 12V wires (key must be turned for accessory 12V wire to have voltage)

Could be a problem with the wires behind the radio, that may be what blew the fuse in the first place. Constant 12 volt (usually a yellow wire on an aftermarket radio) is supplied from the BACK UP fuse under the hood.

The red and yellow wires in the aftermarket cd player needs to have power
