Default What's the proper Lug nut torque?

Hi all,
I was trying to find the Civic lug nut torque spec somewhere.
For a 2004 Civic.
I called my local dealer, and they said 80-100. Come on, there has to be a specific value. Anyone know?
Thanks.

80 ft/lbs is what I always use. No wheels have fallen off so far.

Precisely the moment when a giant vein pops out of your forehead.

It's not something you need to be really specific about. Tighten it almost as tight as humanly possible (without standing on the lug wrench). Common sense will tell you whether it's too tight or not tight enough.

I have used 80 ft/lbs on all three civics i have owned, my 4door has 178k miles on it and no wheels have fallen off. I use the same specs on other civics too. Tighten them in a cross pattern to keep things even.
