Default wheres the signal wire for tach?

I have a 2005 civic dx with no tach, of course I want to add one. I know how to hook a tach up but i don't know where the signal wire is at. I've read the wire is blue but where is it?? Is the signal wire behind the gauge cluster, or do I have to go somewhere else to look. thanks for any help or website links.

Default RE: wheres the signal wire for tach?

I dont know about a 2005, but on the 98 EX it is inside the engine bay on the drivers side. Here is a pic so you can see where I am talking about. Its the big RED arrow. LOL

It may not be in the same spot, but on my year model it is blue. Hope it helps.
