Default white smoke out the exhaust?

What that about? I changed my oil yesterday and this morning a bunch of white smoke came out the exhaust...it went away after about 3-5 min of idleing but I was just curious.

Thanks!

Was the smoke white or blueish? You might have over filled it. If its steam your head gasket could be blown...

Is it cold where you are? while the engine is warming up there will be white smoke untill it's at normal operating temp. Otherwise white smoke would mean water or coolant I believe. If it was oil it would be blue or black.
