Why is it always the Rad?!

Hello forum users, so I have replaced 2 rads in two vehicles I have owned this year and I walk out this morning to notice a very small leak in my new (to me) SI's rad :mad::mad: Now my only fear is I cant see where the leak is coming from and last time I experienced this was on my 96 Acura TL 3.2L and it turned out the head was warped and I had to sell it for low low... so my only question is, could there be a problem with the block or head when my compression is 175-180 ? thanks.

If you haven't let it overheat, the engine should be fine.

No overheating just worried because I cannot locate the leak and I only lost about 2 table spoons worth of coolant, when my Acura had a head problem it did a similar thing when it got warm it would over pressurize and push coolant from the cap, until it eventually cracked the whole rad and started steaming from the tailpipe. I am probably just worrying but I've had bad experience this year with cooling systems and Honda's.

Check the head gasket by taking the radiator cap off (cold)-- it should be completely full. Then start the engine (cold) with the cap off and rev it. If no bubbles come out of the radiator the head gasket should be OK.
