Anyone ever have problems with there intermitten W/S wipers stopping at half stroke? Mine stop on half strokes instead of full?

Instead of sweeping full left to right and stop; they sweep left then stop; then right and then stop...after a while they get out of sync and start stopping at different places?

 

sometimes if the window is dry, they skip....but if your window is wet, then i dont know what to tell you

 

have you checked the bolts that holds the wiper arms? if so, it may be the motor itself, but i dont know, something mightve got short or somehting

 

i would think the problem would be in the switch - but need someone else that knows more
