Window keeps sliding off track

I have a 97 Civic coupe and the window keeps popping off. Is there a easy way to fix this?

sorry, no easy way...you've got the coupe window disorder..... you gotta take off the door panel, realign the window in the channels and tighten the window regulator bolts

I have done that, this is the third time this month the dumb window has popped off. Why does it pop off anyway? To me it seems that the tint on the window is too thick and its forcing its way through the weather striping and then pushing itself off, is this possible?

I don't think that it's the case...most coupes have this problem...including mine...I think the window regulator somehow distorts its mounting plate after so many uses and it just doesn't align right...

on my 93 there was a little nut on the latch side of the door with little barely noticeable hatch marks next to it my bolt would loosen up and i would have to align it and tighten it. i had to put blue loc-tite on the threads and after that i had no problems. use the blue not the red!!!!

mine did the exact same thing and i have always heard that there is no real way to fix it, just make sure everything is tightened down as much as possible.

best of luck with it though!
