Is the motor receiving battery voltage when the switch is turned ON? Does the motor run if you supply it with direct battery power?

Access window motor and:

1) use voltmeter to test voltage at the motor connector when the switch is turned ON

2) run wires from battery to motor (reversing polarity reverses window direction -- up versus down).

You probably need to lubricate the window tracks too.

ok so it turns out that the fuse box is bad in my car well not all but the one that sent the full power to the windows so i had to get a wire to jump it from one active connection to the bad to have the windows go down weird
