Well the fluid doesnt come oput of the nozzles and i thought maybe there were plugged so i un hooked them and then tried to run the fluid right out eh hoses themselves. RE: Windshield Nozzles
So....when you unhooked the hoses and tried nothing came out??
Yes check the fuse, then you can go to a junk yard and pull the pump/washer assembly or buy one from an auto parts store...Bad washer pump is my guess. |
RE: Windshield Nozzles
you should be able to hear the pump running when you pull the switch.

RE: Windshield Nozzles
Agree, click your key over to ACC and try it out, if you hear the pump running then trace the hoses back to the pump, see if maybe the pump supply from tank/res hose is off, leaking, or gummed up. If you hear the pump it should be working, its just one of those things I guess.
Good luck |
RE: Windshield Nozzles
definatly listen for the pump... if ya hear it runnen and ya KNOW its got fluid in it..... check the hoses...
it could just have a cut line or pinched line... a cut line is easy to find! just look for the water trail ;) if no water trail pull the hose off the washer pump or even the Y portion and blow thru it both ways to see if the lines are clear. but if ya dont hear the pumps hum then just go to a junk yard and pickup a pump for it... those are realy cheap! or buy from the dealership... i wouldnt think i lousy washer fluid pump would be to much.... tho i might be wrong... wouldnt hurt to ask.... |
RE: Windshield Nozzles
And, since nobody mentioned this, it could be the bad wire or pump loose terminal, too
