Default Windshield Seal

Hey,

I need to remove the black rubber "seal" that goes around the front windshield and was wondering if you can just pull it off or if it comes as part of the window? I dont want to have to get a new windshield if i try to pull it off and it doesnt work...

Thanks

That rubber seal is like a big letter H that forms around the glass on one side and seals it to the car.... if you rip it out you'll break the seal and get water in your car.

Why do you need to take it off?

BTW if you mess it up you are going to have to take in to a shop. They use special glue to attach the windshield to the car. If you try to use something different it will not be string enough. Just FYI.
