I recently bought a 2005 civic with an automatic transmission and I notice that whenever I turn the wipers on it makes a small clicking sound. Does anyone know what could be causing that noise? Thanks.

 

Hey there! Gratz on the civic but if you dont see anything going on I pretty sure thats just the motor doing that...

 

what kind of clicking? is it a mechanical clicking or an electric clicking?

 

I am pretty sure it's mechanical. It does the clicking sound right when it's about to start moving the wipers. I asked someone I know who has a 2004 civic and they said their car doesn't make any noise when using the wipers. Are repairs to the wipers expensive?
