driving to florida and its 88 degrees outside and the a/c cycles on for a second or 2 then shuts off..........waits 30 seconds cycles on and repeats. Im now in florida and I bought an ac recharge kit that of course I didnt catch that it has the sealer in it. After 4 1 second spritzes of the stuff with the doors open, a/c on max ac, temp to max counter clockwise rotation to full cold temp. it seems to work somewhat better. Low side read 35 psi using the crappy guage they give you. Took it to a service center today and they said a/c is fine. Im not quite sure I believe them yet. Id like to not grenaide the a/c system by adding too much. Really would like to have the dual gauge setup but harbor freight in this area didnt stock it. I did pick up the vent gauge from auto hole and it seems to get to 60 and thats the coldest it got. Heck it might already be overcharged and I dont know it.
Still hunting for the factory specs for a 2012 Lx civic so I can have the target temp 94 degrees out then low side should be??? Car has not been recharged at all by us and thats like 8 years.
