Default Wrong oil filter... problem?

Hi, so I have a 2004 1.7L Civic SI (Canadian model) or EX (US) but I bought and installed oil filter that's for 2.0L SIR (Canadian model) or SI (US)... see how I could've made the mistake? anyways, I tried searching for any differences between the oil filters and I can't seem to tell any spec differences. It's FRAM extraguard but I forget the serial.

Thanks

Look at the model number from FRAM for each vehicle. Post them or give us links. Im sure you will be fine though.

so whats the problem exactly are you leaking oil ??? if theres no spec difference and the threads are the same then im guessing there either identical filters or the one you have is slightly longer which won't harm your car. the only real problem here is that your using FRAM brand filters fram sucks don't use them there almost as bad as north american OEM honda filters made out of cardboard.
