Are years interchangable?

I am going through junkyards trying to find 'new' interior parts for my '97 Civic, but for some reason there aren't too many Hondas in the junkyards  LOL - I was able to find a '98 Civic that had good visors (Although the color doesn't match my car), and took those, and I noticed when I put the 'new' ones on the end pieces in the center when they're closed are just a bit longer than the slots for it - Not a big deal at all, but it got me wondering what Civic model years are 'swappable', or if any other Hondas (Such as an Accord) would work - I need to find a headliner in decent shape, but the pickings are slim on the reliable Honda Civics! :-P

96-00 interior parts are interchangeable, with the exception of things like the center console/heater core.

Beautiful - That's a nice range to choose from - Now if I can just FIND junkyards with Civics :-P
Thanks for replying!
