Nice customm job to your trunk. So did you use any special kind of glue for your trunk or anything? what kind of glue did you use to glue the carpet down? i already know i'm not goint to use the original carpet that came w/ my car. And i have a pretty good idea of what i'm goin to use. But any special glue or anything? and oh yeah, did you secure your box to the wood in your trunk somehow so it doesn't slide around? Maybe some little L brackets or something? i got a few ideas just trying to hear some others.

Ya man I got it all worked out . I had to use 1x4 and 1x6 instead of the 2x4 and 2x6 to compensate room for my speakers, and i just used and half inch sheet of plywood. Lots of sanding and cutting. I actually had to buy two sheets of plywood because i messed up on the first one. The carpet in the trunk that i was using as a guide to cut out the wood just wasn't working for me . So instead i got a big sheet of paper folded that flush along my trunk bed traced then cut out the paper that i needed. This gave me a lot closer cutting lines on the plywood. and then from there everything started to fit together pretty nicely. I couldn't have dont it withought the diagram that helped a lot.i got pictures posted on my Garage . Check it out man. And let me know what kind of carpet material and glue you used . Finally done with this project i can move on to the next one .

ya i just picked up a spare at the junk yard. i know i will have enough room with the spare tire. I'm not worried about that . But i have these 6x9 in the rear, behind the rear seats. and then i have my sub box that holds 2 12 in subs. But i'm off tomorrow so i'll do some measuring.

Hey i finally got some time to gert started on that project i only have one dilema? I think my speakers 6x9 in the trunk hang down too low . What size speakers do you have behind the rear seats? like i said i have 6x9 and the way it looks i'm not sure i will have en ough space. But the spare tire in my trunk rite now isn't the rite size so that might make the difference. Just let me know what size speakers you have behind your rear seats if any and if you had enough clearence between those and the box. Appreciate it.

Man I really like the way that came out. Can you give me a little more detail ? What kind of wood, how you went about it? rite now i got my subs sitting on my spare tire in the trunk. I know it would sound better if it was on a solid surface. And i need some weekend projects. Can you help me out?
