I know how to change outer tie rod ends. I'm just outside Chicago. Its actually not to difficult. Jack car up, wheels off. Remove castle nut on top of tie rod end. Use a suitable pickle fork to seperate the tie rod and the control arm. Screw off old tie rod. Screw on new tie rod. Put new tie rod on top of bolt. Install castle nut. Install cotter pin. Put wheels on. Take the car to the alignment shop. I'll go look at my manual later on and make sure this procedure is correct. I wrote that up off the top of my head.

Go to autozone and rent a tie rod seperator (you have to put a deposit on it). You should only need a 10mm (for a 95 civic) and all the stuff required to remove the tires and jack the car up.

you dont even need a tie rod separator. I was helping my cousin with it and to get the control arm separated from the tie rod he hit it a couple times and it came right off. It was alot easier than it looks
