Default 05 Civic Noob

Hey all! Thought I'd introduce myself since I'll be whoring it up around here while trying to build my new Civic. I'm Ben, I own 2 Hondas as of now:

1995 Del Sol... on jack stands being rebuilt after a few years of neglect

2005 Civic VP "el hoyo del dinero" (the money pit)

"A Civic VP!?" you may ask... well here's why. After laying down 11 sec et's with the del sol and the eclipse, my buddy was complaining that I made it look easy with a boosted twin cam motor (HA!). So I traded my 99 GST and some cash in for this little bad boy on a bet that I couldn't do it with a NEW SOHC Civic, LOL right before the gas prices went up! So yeah.... here I am, a Honda guy with 1.7 liters of SOHC fury and no VTEC!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Anyway, it'll be a fun year and I'm sure I'll have fun getting to know you all.

I have to say, for what it is - it's a nice car. Good road manners, smooth shifting (slight cruch from 1st to second under load), and good god! 40 MPG!!!! I'm still in love with Hondas, even the econo boxes. So the fun part right now is looking for '05 parts and not for the Si, no turbo luv as of yet, ah well the market will catch up soon enough.
