Default 2002 Honda DX - Adding AC

I got lucky picked just picked up a 2002 Honda DX with Minor Body Damage only 73k on it. The elderly lady was a stickler for maintenance. The timng belt./wp was replaced at 60k and at 70k she had all the brakelines replaced along with the master cylinder. The bill for this was just over $3000.00 .I only paid half that for the car. All maintenance and repairs were done at the dealer. The fluid looks like she just acquired the car new.

Yes this is the basic of basic DX's no power winddows, no power door locks, no airconditioning. I can live with all three, by my wife absolutely needs ac. So here is my question.

I was researching the availablilty of AC kits for a 2002 Hond Civics, unfortunately every website I went to stated they were discontinued for 2002 Civics. However, I found 2003 Honda Civi AC kits were readily available. I realize they are of the same generation but there is a notation on the bottom of the web page statting that it will not fit the 2002 Honda Civic. Will the 2003 Honda Civic AC kit actually fit the 2002 Honda Civic? What component in kit will not fit.? Are there any other solutions besides acquiring the ac assembly for a salvage yard?

Thank you for your input.
