2007 Civic LX

Hey everybody this is my first time with a civic and since it is brand new i am wondering what i can do or if anything to put a full exhaust system on it with out voiding the warranty on it. It is a 5spd and has good pick up but obviously i am first goin to put an intake in it for an easy gain of hp. What r some of the best intakes for civics.

A full exhaust isn't going to net you much gain. It will mostly just make your car louder. It won't automatically void the warranty. As long as your warranty claims have nothing to do with the exhaust, you should be fully covered.

If you're going to spend money, I would suggest going for an intake and high-flowair filterfirst. You don't need anything fancy, you might even be able to get away with adecent one for about $50. With good air flow going, you'lllikelysee a minor improvement in throttle response, a deeper, throatier engine tone, and an improvementfuel mileage. Of course, you'll probably negate the savings in fuel because the sound of the engine will entice you to constantly stomp on the gas pedal.

Who makes the best intakes for the 2006-2008 Civics (LX/EX)?
