Well you might think this is a dumb question considering ones newer than the other, but which would you prefer?
Also, what are the pros and cons that you believe in of the different year models?

 

i like my 6th gen, but ive always wanted an eg hatch. (eg is the 95) both are pretty good cars to start with. and there are tons of parts for both. the only thing that bothers me is that the interior feels older in the 95, but if your going to swap gauges and make it a "race" or "show car" thats really not a problem. just find some one with both that will let you drive them and take it for a spin, see how you feel as far as head/leg room. options like power windows...just test them out and see which one you like more.

I like 95 more. And at that age one year does not make a whole lot of difference...

 

Well, i was mainly asking because the 95 civic was the last of its generation and the 96 was the start of a new generation.

 

I can re-phrase LOL I like 92-95 more than 96-00

 

95 if it's a hatch, 96 if it's a coupe.

 

95 does not have to pass emmision where i am 96 does
