Default 94 Civic Nooooob got a question. PICS NOW

Hey. Nice place ya have here.

So I bought a 94 Civic 4 door today. Drove it around, runs great. 190,000 on the car 35000 on a new engine. After I bought it and drove it around town all day I noticed that sometimes, not all the time or alot but when driving in some ruts on the streets that the car pulls or kinda jerks the wheel a bit. Its both ways too, not just to one side. Im not sure what kind of tires are on it, I just know there alot wider and smaller than the stock tires and there pretty much bald.

My question is do ya think the tires are causing this or do I possably have a steering issue.

Thanks.

is the car lowered at all? if the tires are bald, i would change them out immediatly. good luck with the car. they did replace the motor with the same one that was in the car before?

welcome to hcf

I dont think its Vtek. I dont see the solenoid. I think theres a different head on it.

But there is a block off plate on the head, so what does that mean?

I need to take a few pics huh?

thats where your solenoid should be. or in that general area... im pretty sure that this picture is a 2001 or later civic based on battery location. but on eg's it was basically in the same position. probably closer to the ground. on the very front of the head.. check out the Engine and Internal section and you will definitely find way more information than i can possibly give you.

If you have heavy rims or wide rims, you'll notice a pull from ruts in the road more than your steelies. There's not much you can do to fix it, just hold on tighter. New tires would probably help though.

My rims tend to do the same thing and I live around a lot of crappy and unlevel roads.
