Default 95 Civic...

Hello all,

I have had a 95 civic sedan for about 5 years... It has been our third car and not driven that much. It runs great but looks bad. I bought a F250 diesel last year and myfuel bill is going to put me in the poor house. So the Civic is getting the call back to active duty.

My questions are: What mods can I do to get the most out of MPG?
My understanding is anything that increases horsepower basically increases the engines' efficiencies thus better MPG. If I can keep my foot out if it LOL. I am also going to have to paint the poor girl. I would like her to look good even if she is just going to be a daily driver. Any suggestions welcome. Right now it is kind of a purple/ gray...

Thanks
Patrick

Well mods wise, I'm not a guru by any means. For just MPG, I use mid-grade gas and run a fuel SYSTEM cleaner (not injector) through once a month. It definitely ups my gas mileage. Mods wise I know there's a chip you can put in that will boost horsepower and MPG...it runs you about $250.
