Default ANOTHER NEW GUY

Checking in for roll call.........I got a 91 CRX exclusively for drag racing. It has been an n/a all motor car but I'm changing it to a b16a turbo drag racing devil.

The car in N/A form was running high 11s, low 12s.........as we speak I´m in the process of installing the b16 turbo which is tuned on 91 octane pump gas and it´s at 330 whp. the internals are forged and ready for more boost but I want to try it in this form first, as the tuner assures me that I should be running low 10s with this motor in the crx that weighs in at 1400 lbs. he also tells me that with high octane racing fuel I can expect 500+ hp from the motor.

Here are the pics of the b16 turbo placed in the donor car I bought just to tune it in florida. By the way, I´m in Honduras, Central America.

well.....as far as $ goes. the 99 civic HB with the b16 cost $2500. the building of the motor with the tuning included is another $10500. so, you're looking at about $13000. the crx as it is lightened and suspension and wheels and a couple of other gadgets around $10,000 more. Total = aprox. $ 21,000 with that motor in the crx in the states. Here I paid a little more as I had to pay the shipping and import taxes

here's a link of the n/a crx a year ago. the last race before it was lightened http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLmYN...earch=sinner22. my brother was driving it in this race. it's the white one.
