Just wanted to tell you about myself. I have a 00 civic si. completely stock. i am also a professional mechanic. i am really into the stock sleeper look. i just wanted to know what air intake system has the best bang for you buck? thx!

welcome! thats just depending if you want an off brand or what. on ebay there are really cheap cai and sri's. they arent going to be as good as some of the others but are about $150 cheaper depending if you get a cai or sri. aem is one of the best manufacturers as far as intakes go. they arent cheap, but, you get what you pay for.

also a really good make is enjen, on some applications such as the rsx produce more power then aem, im not sure for the civic tho, and incase you done no cai - cold air intake, goes down the the bottom of your bay and sucks up cold are and sri-short ram intake, its alot shorter and stays in your bay..both are great

i think we kinda decided after going over dyno charts, that youre best off with the AEM SRI, AEM CAI, AEM V2, K&N, or the Injen CAI. they all have more power than the others at some RPM point, and all have less at some, but all seem to be made better than a lot of the competition.
