Hello all

I just bought a used 97 civic DX as a daily driver when my 98 Camaro finally blew a cylinder head (203k miles, she lasted longer than anybody thought she would!).

I really don't have much desire to do any performance modifications to what was built as a pure econobox, but I am looking into the possibilities of hypermiling with it. As it is, I basically drive it like I stole it and have been averaging 33+mpg, so it doesn't seem like too far a stretch to start inching that number up!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully be able to help some people out! (As well as get my own silly questions answered!)

I'm familiar with doing my own wrenching, having owned a couple of street/strip muscle cars, along with various motorcycles, and having done all my own maintenance since I started driving (a lot longer ago than I'd like to admit! ).
