buying a 00 ex coupe

Hello,
My name is Barb and i am new, I need some help with a decision;
I am buying a 00 Ex. coupe. that has 45K, couston airbrushed graphics, a wings west body kit, a coustom paint job, all new exaust, intake...etc. The only catch is it's a five speed and i am not totally comfortable on stick yet. So am i just setting myself up for a huge let down? I am totally in love with the car and i'm only paying 7K for it. Should i go through with it or not?

yes, learning to drive a 5 speed is not that hard. Once you got it down, you wont want to go back to automatics.

youll have it down pretty good in a couple of hours or less, and youll be totally comfortable with it in a week or two. where you from? if youre close by, ill help you learn, or if someone else is close, im sure they would help you out. we all like to see new people learning the joys of a 5-speed civic.:)

well my first time buying my car was the first time drove a stick. i had to back it out the driveway, i pretty much had it down then.

My pappy wouldnt let me drive without me knowing stick. Great fun! Soon youll get good enough to smoke, and talk on a cell phone with it! Hahaha! I actually did that quite often in my car lol :D

For my car to pass MD inspection i have to get it lifted to factory settings. I am debating on leaving it at that. Driving a car that's lowered can be a bitch. any suggestions on that? Will it look gay? Is driving a lowered 5speed harder? i just don't want to hit a speed bump and rip the body kit off.

what size wheels does it have? it might look a little funny, but just lower it a little bit lower than stock, maybe an inch.

stick with 17's and its not hard to drive lowered just go slow over bumpy lookin stuf and go at angle on driveways and speed bumps you soon will figure out what you can go through or can not.

I agree you will get the hang of it and feel much comfortable. I didn't feel comfortable when i first drove a stick shift esp stopping and going up a hill but now i drive it like nothing.

Yeah stick with 17" dont go too big on rims.
