i bought a 02 civic coupe dx and i want an cai but iam not sure if they have all the spots for sensors and stuff i was looking for an aem one but i would liek to know about having to unhook the battery an stuff if u have to thanx

welcome to hcf i would go with the aem unhooking your battery the neg cable for about 30 mins and hooking it back up lets the computer ajust to the new cai because you will be getting more airflow with the cai hope this helps

so unhooking the battery is only for the computer to read it and reset, so i leave it unplugged for 30 mins how long does the car have to run after i tis hooked up again

i just drive mine around awhile a little hard to get it used to the cai but don't red line it in every gear lol just get on it a few times

Heres the whole process in a nut shell...
First disonnect the battery, take off the stock intake, disconnecting the o2 sensor and the breather hose, bolt on the new intake, reconnect the o2 sensor and the new breather hose, reconnect the battery and start it up.
