Check Engine Light

Default Check Engine Light

does anyone know where the OBD 1 location is on a 94 civic?

I think that the connection point is in the glove box on the right side above the ECM. I found a diagram and thats where it looks like it is. What tool are you going to use to connect to the ECM?

It's not in the glovebox. It's below it.

thanks guys for the info, THe civic is actully my GF's car, but anyways, the guy at AutoZone said if i take a regular wire and connect each end to the ECU socket that has the 2 pins, the check engine light should blink once, (that way i know it worked) then it will flash a certain number of times, then i must correspond the number of flashes to the honda civic diagnostic chart. and I should find out what the problem is.

what do yall think?

If you post the codes, i should be able to get the desicription of the problem. And there are a lot of people on here that can help solve the problem.
