code 9 CYP problem

Default code 9 CYP problem

my car runs fine then cut off with check light showing 9...
want to find out what is code 9 no. 1 cylinder position [CYP] and how to fix it.
hope some1 can help me

Generally you need to replace the distributor to fix. Check the CYL sensor resistance. Should be 350-700 Ohms. Also check the two wires running between the distributor for an open or short.
