Hello everyone,

I have recently bought a honda civic eg 1.6 vtec and have a slight concern. Basically, when i put my foot down in 2nd gear, once the rpm clock reaches 5000, the engine light flicks on then off, is this normal for a civic, does anyone one know?

 

Not really normal, maybe you should take it to a car shop and they could tell you if the computer is throwing out any codes.
