Default RE: EX versus DX

I have a dx, and i like not having the extra weight, but i do miss power windows. i think im going to get aftermarket ones. or swap on EX doors. then ill have power mirrors too. but i dont like sunroofs because my head hits the headliner (im 6'2"+) but other than that, I would probably have an EX.

Definitely go with the EX it's just a better package overall. Only area the DX beats the EX is headroom and gas mileage. My old '92 DX I could actually get 50 mpg on long road trips (above half a tank) My '95 EX gets around 35 on long trips. If these are more important to you go with the DX otherwise go with the EX. BTW, I'm 6'1 and very comfortable in the EX.

I got the dx and honestly for road feel i like not having power steering and the power is easy to gain with some bolt on upgrades. I am 6'4" if we are measuring and can fit a closed fist above my head when i am reclined a little. Power locks are the shiznet though and windows. Seriously though if you cant muscle a civic without power steering you need to lift a weight some time

Get the Dx. Put the Ex head on it, swap in the Ex doors and viola'- you now kick ***.
