1.ok so when i drive sometime it feels like something is stopping the car and it only happens in the first two gears.
i take off and it makes a sputter noise and as soon as it goes away the car picks up.
2.abs light is on??
3.i don't think this car has its original motor?
4.the car was crashed before and they tried to put it back together the hood opens but to close it you have to push a wire on the latch that holds the hood, how do i fix this

5.DOes there need to be a hose connecting the valve cover to intake?

that isn't from the crash its just a old cable ive had this happen just replace the cable or deal with it.

Need no as long as the intake hole is plugged and the valve cover has a breather (a mini air filter thing)

welcome to the forum.

Change the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and then go from there.

The ABS control system is detecting a problem. You can pull the trouble code like you do a CEL code.

4.the car was crashed before and they tried to put it back together the hood opens but to close it you have to push a wire on the latch that holds the hood, how do i fix this

Try adjusting the hood and latch.

5.DOes there need to be a hose connecting the valve cover to intake?

Yes, it is called the breather hose and it is part of the PCV emissions system. Just hook it up.

A filter will clog and therefore requires maintenance whereas a hose basically doesn't.
