i just bought a 96 civic hatchback dx. i know its only 106 hp but i have been in one that threw me back in my seat. i was wondering what is the first mod i should do to the car? i was thinking a simple intake but i dont want to increase backpreasure and f-my car up. so what do you guys think?

 

An intake isn't gonna increase back pressure...

How about you do get yourself a nice intake...than exhaust and Header... All depends on what you want to do with your car

I would say either an exhaust or an intake.

 

i'd say intake for the first mod, its the cheapest performance mod you can do, and id most def. get a exhaust next.

 

Why don't you ask the guy who had the one that threw you back in your seat what he had done?

Welcome to HCF! I went with intake, exhaust and now I'm getting a header. Throttle body next or high flow cat. Listen to this guys, they won't steer you wrong.
