Default Good-bye old friend

So here I stand at the nose of my 1995 Civic ex...Cracked block. In the life of this car, I've raced California speedway, buttonwillow, Lake paris, and even drove from mexico to canada and back to San Diego where I live. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to Fix the damage yet, so here she'll sit. A solid shell until a later date. No more car, no more racing, no more random drives, or tuning my suspension to match my growing skill. Kind of depressing...

haha, naw, just sucks, ya know?? I've already rebuilt a motor in this car AND installed a new one. I just don't have the energy to do it a 3rd time. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly light on the car while I was racing it. 10/10 all the time. Meh

I think what I am going to do, since I am fairly car suave, is to work up a bit more cash. I am going to pick-up a 2nd job, walk to and from work, continue going to college, and buy a 240sx. Drive the 240sx as a primary while I build a street legal turboed d16z6 and then turn that around as my daily driver as I set my 240sx for racing. That way I can continue racing but in a RWD league and open opportunity to try drifting and track. should be fun

when I was 14 I wanted a CRX. I bought a ****ty VW...Motor set fire. Bought a Geo Storm GSI, broadsided by a drunk. Then I bought a Del Sol that said "CRX Del Sol" on the title. I was happy and LOVED it. Crashed it in a race. By this time I had set my eyes on a 240 and fell in love. 5 cars in 5 years if I get one before next summer. I just love the look of the 93 hatch s13.

Thought I'd try some drifting because it wasn't too hard to drag-*** drift in my civic. I took 7th in an amature comp that had 33 people in it. I dunno. Thank you everyone for your support
