Just another one of the masses from South Carolina..... great to be here and great to see a really active and informative Civic forum. The car in my avatar and sig pic are supposed to be mine tomorrow evening. The car is a find by a family member who is a dealer here in the upstate of SC and was found by my request. It is getting a tune up and having a cruise control vacuum leak repaired in the morning, so by this time tomorrow evening, I will be bringing her home.

As a matter of fact, yes, I did have an '85 Accord back around '92 or '93. It seemed to be a heck of a lot smaller than the '98 Civic and had a crappier ride. I actually picked up the Civic for fuel economy from my wife's uncle for $1k, so how could I not go for it.

And hey, it was time for a 'second childhood' car anyway. The last time I had this much fun on the road instead of off was when I had a '68 Triumph Spitfire mkIII! (Oh and I did NOT own it in 1968)
