i'm new to this site.. i got a 97 hx coupe with the d16y7 turboed. just got done rebuilding the motor about 45 mins ago. its a turbonetics t3/t4. right now its runs about 5 psi boost. still need it tuned. got some problems tho. around 4500 rpms @ 5 psi it breaks up. please anyone have ideas would be usefull.

 

Welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy your stay. As for your problem I can't help you but there is a lot of smart people here who have dealt with turbos. So hopefully you can get some advice. I've never messed with turbos before so I don't really know. I hope you get your problem fixed. and again welcome.

 

Get it tuned right, and you won't be breaking up any more...
