Hi everybody. I'm 15 (almost 16), and when I turn 16, I will recieve my mom's '04 Chevy Tahoe, which I will sell as soon as I can (it get's 13.5 MPG). After I sell the Tahoe, I'll have $25,000 to spend. I will be buying a car that's good on gas, yet fun to drive, safe, and practicaly. Eventually I will mod it for Autocross racing (do not worry, I'm opposed to street racing). I have considered the Cobalt SS/SC, RSX-S, and GTI, but like the new Civic Si the most. Would a new Civic Si be a good car for me? I appreciate any advice, thanks!

One question...I've heard that it's completely gutless stock. Is this true? Because if I AutoX it, I will need some good torque.

8th have the most power, the 6th's are the most popular.... and the 7th gen is the least popular, as well as the "bastard child" of the Si's, overweight, and underpowered... but i still love em

 

roody: go to honda.com, look at this 2007 civic si w/197 hp!! it comes in a coupe or sedan. Good choice.
