Hello From New York

Hi all. I bought a 97 Civic EX with about 190,000 miles, the car runs great and it was dirt cheap, my question is, what things should I look into to replace? The car has no visible problems. What are the pros and cons with a 97 EX? Hopefully I don't see 100 views with 0 replies, lol. Thanks guys, Peace!

The common thing that I've notice is the a/c clutch. Other then that your usual rusting out of the exhaust system. They have a thread on this topic somewhere on here I was looking into the other day.

You can slowly rebuild the engine/transmission week by week with smaller parts. It would keep your car in great running shape and the next thing you know, you would have a new set up on the inside. Plus, changing your exhaust wouldn't kill you either as well as all belts inside the engine.
